Refund & Billing

How credits work, what is and isn’t refundable, what happens to credits when you cancel, and the firm rule that credits are not money.

v1 · Draft 22 July 2026 · not yet in effect

1. Credits — what they are

Generation on IDALL is paid for with credits. There are two kinds, and they behave differently:

  • Purchased credits — bought with money (through Stripe) or included with a paid membership for the period. Purchased credits never expire.
  • Awarded credits — earned or given: challenge rewards, prizes, gifts, and bonuses. Awarded credits expire after a set period (shown in-product and in your wallet), and they are spent first, before your purchased credits.

Your exact balances, prices, and expiry dates are always visible in your wallet — no number here is hidden.

Credits are not money. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for or withdrawn as money, and can only be used for services on IDALL. This is a firm rule — see §6.

2. Spent credits are not refundable

Credits used on a successful generation are non-refundable. A generation is a compute service delivered the moment you run it — once the image or clip is produced, the credits are used up. The price of each action is shown before you confirm it.

3. Failed generations are refunded automatically

If a generation fails — on our side or a provider’s — the credits reserved for it are returned automatically to the same balance they came from. You don’t need to ask.If you ever see a failed generation that wasn’t refunded, contact us and we’ll fix it.

Credits are reserved when a generation starts, charged on success, and released on failure, so a crash or provider outage never quietly costs you.

4. Memberships and cancellation

  • You can cancel a membership at any time. It stays active until the end of the current billing period and then does not renew.
  • Unless the law requires otherwise, membership fees already paid are not refunded.
  • On cancellation you keep your purchased credits (they never expire). Any awarded credits still follow their normal expiry, and membership-included allowances stop at period end.
  • Account-level content you created — saved boards, entries, and already-generated work — is not deleted just because you cancel.

If we close your account for a serious breach of the Acceptable Use Policy or Terms, unused credits may be forfeited. Credits have no cash value, so this is not a refund of money.

5. Payments and chargebacks

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details (see the Privacy Policy). If something looks wrong on your bill, please email us at the address on our Contact page before starting a chargeback — we can almost always sort it out faster directly.

6. Credits are not currency

This is important enough to state on its own:

  • Credits have no cash value and are not a stored-value or money instrument.
  • Credits cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or withdrawn for money, and there is no cash-out path.
  • Credits can only be used for services on IDALL, subject to their expiry.

This is the same rule that lets challenge duels work as skill-based entry-fee tournaments rather than wagers — see the Challenge & Prize Rules.

7. Cash prizes are separate from credits

Some challenges advertise a money prize, paid in USDT. Money prizes are handled entirely outside the credit system — they never touch your credit balance, and their rules (eligibility, verification, taxes) are in the Challenge & Prize Rules.

8. Your statutory rights

Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law where you live — for example a statutory cooling-off period. Where such rights apply, they apply on top of this policy. Contact us to exercise them.
