Challenge & Prize Rules

Challenges are skill contests for filmmakers. A weekly Challenge runs over seven daily tasks; a Duel is a head-to-head between two members on one task; group tables are the same idea with more players. Outcomes are decided by judged skill against published criteria — never by chance.

Duels use a credit stake: each player puts in the same number of credits, and the winner takes the pot. This is structured as a skill-based entry-fee tournament. The result is determined by judged skill, not by an element of chance.

• Credits only — never money is staked. You cannot stake, win, or cash out money in a duel or a credit challenge.
• Credits have no cash value and can never be exchanged or withdrawn for money — this is the firm rule in the Refund & Billing terms, and it is what keeps entry-fee tournaments separate from regulated betting.
• Because no money is staked and outcomes are skill-judged, these are not games of chance.

Some challenges advertise a cash prize. For those:

• No entry fee is required to compete for a money prize.
• Judging is by published criteria, and the rules, eligibility, and judging method are shown before you enter.
• The money prize is separate from the credit economy and never touches your credit balance.

• You must be 18 or older to enter any challenge or duel.
• Challenges are void where prohibited by the law that applies to you. You are responsible for compliance in your own country, and we may exclude certain territories.
• Test challenges (clearly marked) are for review only — they pay no money and count on no leaderboard.

Each round’s judging method is declared before it opens and visible to everyone — a jury, a community vote of that round’s entrants, AI judging, or a mix. Where AI decides, that is stated up front along with the criteria, and you accept AI verdicts as final subject only to the dispute process below. The weekly money prize is decided by a jury, not by AI. Every verdict carries a written reason.

• You warrant that your entry is your own work and does not infringe anyone’s rights, and that it follows the Acceptable Use Policy.
• You keep ownership of your entry (see Ownership & Licence).
• You grant IDALL a licence to display, promote, and archive your entry in connection with the challenge and the platform.
• Your prompt is published when the day closes — that is how the community learns.
• We may remove any entry that breaks the rules.

• Every entry, verdict, and payout has a Report action that opens a case (see the Community Guidelines).
• Results may be amended within 48 hours of publication if a dispute is upheld, and not after.
• We may disqualify an entry, void a round, or withhold a prize where we reasonably suspect cheating, collusion, vote manipulation, or rule-breaking.
• Proven theft of another creator’s work means immediate disqualification, prize forfeit, and a rank reset.
• Our decisions are final, subject only to the dispute window and any manual override we apply.

Challenges may be modified, postponed, or cancelled. If a round is cancelled or voided before it completes, entry stakes are refunded in full to the credit balance they came from. There is no guarantee that any particular challenge will run.

To keep the game fair, some actions are rate-limited or restricted (for example new-account limits on gifting and creating tables, stake maximums, and one-per-member reward caps). These protect newcomers and the credit economy; they are not penalties.

Entering a challenge or duel confirms you have read and accepted these rules, the Terms, and the Acceptable Use Policy. We record your acceptance (version, time, IP). Material changes require fresh acceptance before your next entry. Older versions stay readable in the version history below.
