DMCA / Takedown

How a rights holder reports infringing content, what we do about it, and how to file a counter-notice.

v1 · Draft 22 July 2026 · not yet in effect

1. Reporting copyright infringement

We respect copyright and expect members to do the same. If you own rights in a work and believe content on IDALL infringes them, tell us and we’ll act. This process follows the notice-and-takedown approach of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA); if you’re elsewhere, similar principles apply.

2. How to send a takedown notice

Email info@idall.ai with the subject “Copyright takedown” and include:

  • identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
  • the exact URL(s) or location on IDALL of the infringing content;
  • your name, address, email, and phone number;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act for them;
  • your physical or electronic signature.
Please only report content you genuinely hold rights to. Knowingly false takedown claims can make you liable for damages. If you’re unsure whether something infringes, get legal advice first.

3. What we do when we receive a valid notice

  • We review it promptly and remove or disable access to the content where appropriate.
  • We notify the member who posted it and pass on your notice so they can respond.
  • We keep a record of notices and act against repeat infringers, including by terminating accounts.

4. Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address with: the removed content and where it appeared, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake, and your consent to jurisdiction as required by law, plus your signature. If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content unless the original reporter takes legal action.

5. Designated contact

Send all copyright notices to info@idall.ai. Designated agent for formal DMCA notices: [TODO: Legal entity name], [TODO: Registered company address]. [TODO: register a DMCA agent with the US Copyright Office if you rely on the US safe harbour, and add the agent’s details here.]

6. Other rights and content

To report content that isn’t about copyright — a real person’s likeness, non-consensual imagery, or anything else against our rules — use the in-product Report action or the Acceptable Use Policy. Trademark and other complaints can also go to the address above.
